The way to use the tea bag is to soak the tea bag in hot water. Then, place the wet tea bag on the swollen gums for just 5 minutes. When you're done, you can rinse your gums with clean water.

Gargling with Natural Ingredients

Red swollen gum treatment can also be done by gargling using some natural ingredients. Here are the ingredients that can be used for gargling. All of these ingredients are safe to use and you can easily find them in stores.

The first way is to gargle using water boiled guava leaves. There are several studies that prove that guava leaves contain antibacterial and antimicrobial compounds. These compounds are effective for dealing with swollen gums.

You only need to pound 5-6 pieces of young guava leaves. Then, put the guava leaves into the hot water. Boil the leaves for 15 minutes.

After the boiled water is cold, you can add salt to it. Then, rinse your mouth using the boiled water for 30 seconds. You can do it 2-3 times a day to get optimal results.

Not only guava leaves, you can also gargle using vegetable oil. Vegetable oil contains lauric acid which is an anti-inflammatory and antibacterial compound. Gargling using vegetable oil is known as the oil pulling method.

Gargle with 1-2 tablespoons of vegetable oil for a few seconds. Remember! You can't swallow the oil. Then, throw away the oil and rinse your mouth using clean water. You can also brush your teeth to ensure that your mouth is completely clean from vegetable oils.
